Made stone man sculpture using original picture, filters and texture images.

Step 1

For the begining use some picture with a lot of color contrast. Note: Man on the picture must be Layer.

Step 2

With Clone Stamp Tool remove parts of the picture who may be to much for texture. In this case we remove hair and underwear.

Step 3

Select only Layer of the picture.

Step 4

Change Color Mode to Grayscale. If ask you to flatten image press Dont Flatten.

Step 5

Ok. Now go to Filter>Texture>Craquelure. Do like in picture.

Step 6

This is effect what you must get.

Step 7

Now take some picture of Stone. We are chose something like this.

Put the Stone picture in front of First Layer (Man).

Step 8

Select First Layer then use Inverse SHIFT+CTRL+D.

Then again select Stone Layer and press Delete.

Step 9

Select Multiply like in picture.

Step 10

Now take picture of Marble. This will be Layer number Three.

Step 11

Do same like on Step 8 with Stone Layer.

Step 12

Use Pin Light like in picture below.

Step 13

Now go back to Color Mode and select RGB Color.

Step 14

Take some picture for background. We chose picture of dark sky.

Step 15

Put picture behind of all layers.

And here is our Stone Man.
